Meet The Writers

Melissa, Editor and owner of You Won’t Go Blind and Rock and Drool. She is a mom to 5 kids, 3 bio and 2 full time step plus a myriad of supposedly “domestic” animals. She just started a social media company called Barrett and Brodsky Media with another local to her area blogger. Her A.D.D is always in full formation, leaving her running around in circles. She wears many hats, so many in fact that she is beginning to become unbalanced.

 

Chanize Thorpe (www.chanizethorpe.com), Senior Editor for You Won’t Go Blind, spent 10 years as a professional honeymooner and research editor for Brides Magazine. Now she’s an editor and travel writer for several national publications and websites. Every month you’ll find her scouring the globe in search of the world’s sexiest destinations. Mitch was a SAHM until her son graduated high school. She has now taken up gardening, crafts and baking. Married – for better AND for worse – for 19 years to the same guy who is still alive, and mostly in his right mind, her blog “Into The Fog” details her amusing life. Mitch has always felt sex and sex-related stuff is imperative to a good marriage/union and was thrilled to be picked to get to write stories about it on YouWon’tGoBlind.

 

Natalie Hjelsvold, our Senior Writer, is a full-time mother of three. Natalie has a Bachelor of Arts in Counseling with a Human Sexuality major. In 2008, Natalie earned a Master Sexologist designation from Lovology University. In 2006, Natalie started her own business educating women on sex and sexuality and how to find their inner diva. Armed with real life experience and a great sense of humor, Natalie wants every woman to know that it’s OK to be sexy, enjoy sex, with or without a partner! Ryan Drake, our gorgeous “token” male scribe, is a stand-up and improv comedian from Oklahoma City. He also hosts a weekly radio show called “No Fun Intended”, Sunday nights onTheSpyFM.com (8pm central). He’s 20-something years old and pretends to know more about women, sex, and relationships than most people his age, even though he’s usually quite clueless.
